These two gorgeous moggies belong to our daughter and son-in-law.

The 4 year-olds’ names are Frankie and Izzy but they have dozens of other nicknames including Squidgy-bum and Ickle Pickle!

The two cats are sisters but Izzy still looks like a kitten as she has a liver condition which means she won’t grow anymore. She is really cute, but can certainly hold her own! Out of the two cats, she is the hunter, regularly bringing her owners birds into the home, sometimes still alive!!

Frankie prefers to go for less impressive but very varied prey – bees, butterflies, spiders, flies and has even caught a stag beetle! She loves ‘toading’ too. Her owners often hear the high-pitched scream of a poor, persecuted toad from the bottom of the garden.

The cats are full of mischief! Despite being loved and well-fed, Izzy has been known to have stolen food from neighbours’ kitchens. Her owner caught her trying to bring a piece of salmon in through the cat flap one day!

They use a neighbour as their ‘second home’, often spending much of the day sleeping at her house – the neighbour showed them photos to prove it!! We wonder how many other homes they visit around the neighbourhood! We love hearing the stories of what the two cats have been getting up to, so we’ll keep you posted too of their latest exploits!
